This beautiful quince liqueur was named after Thor's wife Sif.

 

Sif is the wife of the thunder god Thor. She brings her son into the marriage with Ullr, a very good archer. With Thor testifies with Sif Thrud.
It is reported as Loki cut off once out of sheer malice all the hair of Sif. Thor noticed this as he grabs Loki and wanted to beat him violently. Loki, however, vowed to bring the gnomes to be made of gold hair that grow like real hair.
