Werewolves and the parallels to Hermann Lön's novel "The Werewolf"!
In his novel "The Werewolf", the homeland-loving pagan poet Hermann Löns describes the underground struggle of the captain "Wolf", who is said to have defended himself against certain Christian henchmen with a group of pagan farmers at the time of the "Thirty Years' War". The name of the resistance group was formed from this with excellent determination and defensiveness like a "werewolf" (or "weir wolf"). Hermann Löns symbolized this fight with the "wolfangel", which is also known as the Gibor rune. Herrmann Löns' tombstone is a large erratic boulder with the inscription "Hermann Löns is resting" underneath, also chiseled into a Wolfsangel ("fishing rod for wolves")!
