The Danish Smoke Salt is made exclusively from the salt of the Dead Sea.
This type of salt is cold smoked constantly for 160 hours at a temperature of 68 Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). The salt must then be turned by hand every half an hour.
This is how the salt gets its nice brown color - only at the right temperature.
If smoked at too high a temperature, the salt becomes cloudy and gray.
Too fast smoking and or too high temperatures, the salt turns almost black.
Impressive strong taste, aromatic smoke, fire, intense spice - these impressions convey the look and aroma of this probably finest Danish smoke salt variant of the present.
By the way, only about 5% of all types of smoked salt are really smoked. Most smoked salt types are offset with smoke aromas.
The durability is almost unlimited. The salt vessel should always be closed well, so that the smoke aroma is not lost.
There are no trickle aids, flavor enhancers or other added substances in this smoke salt.
