Beautifully crafted, 3-dimensional belt buckle in the shape of a bat, made of pewter.
In some tribes, the bat is the symbol of immortality and rebirth. The bats are the wise counselors of the underworld goddess Hel among the Germans. In addition, the bats are also considered to be messengers from ancestors from the underworld to the descendants of the middle world.
In the Christian religion, the animals that live in darkness are seen as satanic spawns of darkness, living in connection with the darkest demons. The bats got a bad image through their demonization.
It is up to us to let the bats shine again in their natural appearance, as ambassadors between the underworld and the middle world.
