The shell is made of polycarbonate (so-called acrylic cup).

Thanks to its transparent polycarbonate shell, the flame of the tealight lights up very intensely and lets the light shine in all directions when the paraffin has liquefied!The tealights are dyed and poured from high purity paraffin.Unlike aluminum tealights, the sturdy, transparent polycarbonate cup does not conduct heat.Please do not use these tealights in closed metallic tealight holders.
